What about the 9-pointed star mentioned in Voyage of Gurdjieff??
Life is eternal for you
When you pass the gate of Hel
(And) come to the end of the row
 (Where you find)
The Beast and The God conjoined

5 (man) + 4 (animal), considering that the man is riding a horse or a donkey or whatever.

And does anybody know what the symbol on the front of Crowning of Atlantis means?
Give me the strength that I want
As I wait through nights until dawn
Rise up Dragon and bring me the fire
Bring to life my deepest desires

Isn't that the symbol of Dragon Rouge? http://www.dragonrouge.net/frameset.htm

I mean, perhaps they also borrowed it, but it's the same, right? The question now would be: hmmm... actually the same one, what does it mean?  :p

That symbol reminds me of the symbol of Mercury in magic.

Heya folks!

Hmmm... perhaps some have already noticed it, but others perhaps haven't. One day, goofing around with AdobePhotoshop, I came with up an effect that's like a wrapping paper. One that wraps the image around like a cylinder and visible from the outside, and the other one, where the image is wrapped like a cone visible only from the inside. Funny thing appeared that when I did that with the 11-pointed star image, the result was the other Therion symbol: the dragon-like thingie with 10 horns. That was kinda, cool  :D   Anyway, anyone can give a try: just take a booklet or a printed image where the the 11-pointed star appears, and fold it like a cone, having the image inside the cone. Take a peek through the widest hole (base) and there you have it   :whistling:

Hi Kandrian,

in fact Mercury is the Roman god which can be identified with the Greek Hermes. And in fact this symbol reminds of the symbol of Mercury, but also of Earth and of Neptune (the trident).

 Cheers!

It reminds me also on trident used in magical evocations.
